New layout 'Sweet'....

The BAP sketch was beautiful! I cut my photo in 3 pieces to use the 3 rectangles from the sketch. I put the middle piece on top, layered with some papers, and the two other pieces are behind that centerpiece.
The rest of the sketch will speak for itself ;)

The challenge from Berry71bleu is about die-cuts. I put a die-cut frame on top of the middle picture. I used two frames actually, on top of eachother, to create a little more 3D effect. I embossed the frame with embossing powder.

Here are some close up pictures and the challenge sketch and moodboard from Prima and Berry71bleu:

New layout 'You color my world' for Scrap around the World challenge July

Here is my 12 x 12 layout for Scrap around the World Challenge July

The moodboard is GORGEOUS, but quite challenging for me. I usually stick to 2 or 3 colors on one layout. But I couldn't decide this time, all the pictures in the moodboard are so beautiful, and so are all the colors......

And then it hit me! All colors combined are a Rainbow!

Now the other challenge: I have never ever scrapped a white page. But I really wanted to try this sometime, and this felt like the best opportunity because I wanted to create my Rainbow with paints and sprays, so my background had to be really basic.

I added the stairs from the moodboard in the background (I hope you can see it in the close up pictures below) with crackle texture paste and a stencil. I used a round dreamcatcher, and added rope in circles, also inspired by the circles in the moodboard pictures. The butterflies are inspired by the moodboards upper right picture (which is my favourite picture of the moodboard)

And here is the beautiful moodboard. Please check out the gorgeous work the Design Team is putting on the blog this month at Scrap around the World. And if you want to participate, here is the link for the Challenge July 2015

Mixed media tag 'spread your wings' for Lindy's Stamp gang challenge...with tutorial!

Here are some close up pictures, the color-moodboard and a tutorial for you:

I really loved the color-moodboard! The picture of the flowers in the blue sky, just gorgeous!

I was inspired by the pink/red and green color. But in the papers I've used, the creamy-beige color is also present. I added some blue by using those beautiful blue crystals here and there on the tag....

Here are the Lindy's stamp gang products I used on this tag:

I used the lovely papers from Lemoncraft and stamps from Prima marketing - Finnabair. The laser cut chipboard pieces (birds on a branch) are from Dusty attic

I was inspired by the beautiful work of Anna Rogalska

And here a little tutorial for you:

Step 1: choose 4 design papers

Step 2: Cut some chipboard pieces to put behind papers to create 3D effect

Step 3: Spray front paper with stencil and Lindy's starburst spray Alpine Ice Rose

Step 4: Use a little gesso on laser-cut chipboard pieces, not too much, it doesn't have to be covered all over.

Step 5: Use perfect medium stamp pad to add embossing powder

Step 6: Add modelling paste with stencil on the last paper (the paper that is behind them all). When paste is still wet, add embossing powder. Heat the embossing powder.

Step 7: Add a little bit of water onto the paper, and add some spray

Step 8: Position your papers. Add the chipboard pieces you've cut in step 2 behind the papers.

Step 9: Stamp some cute stamps on a leftover piece of your design paper. Cut out with scissors and add to your tag. When all glued together, splatter some gesso and sprays all over your tag....

Layout 'Remember this forever' for 7 Dots studio challenge

I made this layout for the 7 Dots Studio June Challenge - Time Flies
The inspiration obviously came from the meaning of time flies...This picture is from my daughter and I took it yesterday, July 4th, and tomorrow, Monday July 6th, she will have her last week at kindergarten school. Next year she will be a 'big' girl, leaving the toddler years behind, and that is quite an emotional moment for me...She has grown up so fast...Have to cry about it now actually, as I am writing this...

I made a picture of her, with wings on her back, to symbolize that time flies, that she will be no longer a toddler after this summer, but also because she simply is my Angel on earth...

I used elements like the pocketwatch and butterflies to point out the theme 'time flies'. The title is 'Remember this forever' because I do want to remember this week, this picture, this moment.....because of time flies by so fast...

I used the paper from 7 Dots Studio 'Cold Country-Lost Letter', Word stickers 'Thoughts keeper' as a title and added chipboard elements from 'Soulmates' collection.

I want to thank 7 Dots studio for creating this challenge, it gave me quite a think about it, but I loved that I could create something for myself to process this period my daughter growing up, and giving it a moment to realize, to stand still by this fact, giving it a place in my heart and in the scrapbook for my daughter. This picture I shall always treasure...

Here are some close up pictures:
