Layout 'Happiness' for Prima PPP & BAP

Here is my 12 x 12 layout for the Prima Challenges August: PPP & BAP
I combined the two challenges because I got a perfect idea for the sketch, and I really wanted to use this paper. Because the color palette of this paper fits so well on the gorgeous moodboard from the PPP, I decided to combine these challenges, and embellish my layout with the PPP colors turquoise-blue-beige-sand.

Guest designer at Berry71bleu: Layout 'Hello bliss'

I was asked to be a guest designer at Berry71bleu to make a project with the gorgeous moodboard for the August challenge. This is what I came up with. I loved the moodboard, and immediately got inspiration. Thank you Berry71bleu for the honour to be a guest designer!

Mixed media layout 'Little moments of Magic'

Here is a new, mixed media layout I made yesterday. I got this idea after seeing the beautiful moodboard from Anything but cute - Mixed media Challenges #4 August -Making Magic and I would like to enter this  12 x 12 page for the challenge.

I started with the picture, I made it last month from my daughter, you can't see it in the picture, but she has real feathered wings on her back...For me this is a really magical picture. The title is inspired on the fact that, every day, I find those little moments of magic, joy and thankfulness of being a mom and seeing my daughter growing up.

I used the colors from the moodboard, and went nuts on shimmering Lindy's Stamp Gang sprays (they are so magical!)

My background is made out of black cardstock, white gesso, modelling paste in combination with stencils, and lots of sprays. I added shimmering sequins and beautiful, shimmering glass beads, wich are a gift from my sweet aunt from Amsterdam ( I got hundreds of little bags in all different shades and colors, such a huge gift!)

My chipboard pieces are painted with gesso and inka gold in the colors gold and green. I highlighted the metal embellishments with some inka gold (Oldgold)

New layout 'Explore Dream Discover'

I was inspired by the moodboard from SATW to use these colors, and to use this title. Because the moodboard had most of all to do with travelling, and I am so NOT a traveller, I had a big think about it....
I think the words Explore, Dream and Discover are also the words my daughter experiences growing up. I hope for her, she will always feel the freedom to do these three things, and that she will know we will always stand by her, when she tries exploring and discovering her dreams...
I used this picture, because I love that she stands behind some leaves, wondering about the tree she was standing under, and it has a little bit of a dreamy touch because of the blurry focus.

I used the beautiful paper from 7 Dots studio (messy head-love letter) which has a beautiful, old-typewriter print all over (the theme for the challenge at Scrapki-wyzwaniowo is Typesetting) and I stamped my title with that same old-typewriter alphabet stamp. I love old typewriter letters...

Tutorial Layout 'Explore Dream Discover'

Step 1. Position your chipboard and papers. When you know how you want it, glue down the tags and cards.

Step 2. Add Inka gold (Steelblue and Oldgold) with a stencil. Spray sometimes a little bit of water on the Inka gold to make it smoother.

Step 3. Use a stamp with Stazon randomly on the page.

Step 4. Paint the chipboard pieces with white gesso and Inka gold Platinum.

Step 5. Use a stamp with Stazon randomly on your chipboard pieces.

Step 6. Paint a litte bit of Inka gold Oldgold and Steelblue also on your chipboard pieces. You can lighten it with Inka gold Platinum if you'd like.

Step 7. Paint die cut paper pieces with the same colors.

Step 8. Stamp your words. Cut them with scissors.

Step 9. Glue all pieces on your page. Embellish with flowers and Crystals.
