All of me loves all of you...

Hi there sweet followers,

I want to show you my newest layout ‘All of me loves all of you’, made with a special ink technique on watercolour paper for Lindy's Stamp Gang

I made a video too (at the bottom of the page) so you can see this technique.

I started the background by adding Moon Shadow Pegleg Pete Purple onto the paper.
Then, I added a butterfly stamped image with black gesso.

Next, I added pattern with a stencil and white gesso over it and I started building the page with paper, fabric, gorgeous pieces of chipboard, flowers, wire and more.

I used some cut out butterflies and the title of the page (which is also the center of the page) is a piece of paper.

And here is the video:

Altered notebook cover 'treasure memories'

Hi everybody!

Today I would like to show you my altered notebook cover.
This was a project that has been on my 'wish to make' list for more than a year now!
I finally had an idea, and because I really wanted to use the new waxes from Finnabair for this project, I waited till they arrived this week...

I was inspired to use these colors because of the gorgeous moodboard from the March challenge at Mixed Media & Art . I would like to enter my project for the challenge.

I started with painting the cover with black gesso.
When it was dry, I mixed texture powder with black gesso, so it had more 'body' to use with my Distressed Diamonds Stencil from Dusty Attic.

I painted my chipboard corner pieces also with black gesso, and when they were dry, I added them with 3d gel. I gave the cover here and there a layer of clear crackle varnish and when it was dry and crackled I painted that part of the cover again with black gesso. I did the same with a leaf from chipboard (the fairy queen's hair).

The art pebbles and the chipboard words also got a layer of black gesso.
When all was dry I softly dry brushed the parts with the new waxes. I used opal magic turquiose and metallique white gold. I used some acrylic paints mermaids sparkle too, on some of the art pebbles and the chipboard words.

After all was dry brushed I glued down the sisal, flower, fairy, words and art pebbles with 3d gel.

Thank you for watching!

Dream...

Hi everybody,

Here is my new mixed media layout for my blogpost at 7 Dots Studio and for The Dusty Attic March Moodboard challenge. I would also like to enter my layout for the March challenge at Scrapki-Wyzwaniowo 'Numbers'

I had a long thought about the Dusty Attic moodboard, but I became mostly inspired by the white feathers with the gold on top. So I decided to create a white and soft golden layout, with the gorgeous papers from Writer's Block.

This layout is about what I would love to have for my daughter in live: Dreams.
That she hopefully always will live inspired, shines brightly, stays strong when times get hard, and believes in herself and her dreams...

I painted the filmstrip chipboards with white gesso and sprayed them with Lindy's Stamp Gang Creme Brulee Cream
I used inka gold on the other chipboard pieces, the color old-silver.
On the title I used a little bit of white gesso too, just on the below half of the title, so the word dream really looks so dreamy that way!

Catch a butterfly...mixed media canvas

Hi everybody!

Today the new challenges from Lindy's Stamp Gang and More Than Words are up on the blog and running!
Come take a look at all the great projects the design team members made!

I made this mixed media canvas.

I loved the softness of the color challenge moodboard from Lindy's, and I wanted the create something exactly like that soft and sweet wedding cake...

The challenge at More Than Words is one absoluty favorite for me! I love butterflies, I use them very often on a project, and the word beautiful too. So not a difficult challenge for me at all!

I have made a short video tutorial for you how I created the background of the canvas with the gorgeous Lindy sprays Clam Bake Beige, Merci Beaucoup Mint and Cape Cod Coral and I used embossing powder Terra Cotta Plum to stamp my butterflies.

Thank you for watching!
