Mixed media heart

 

I created a mixed media heart based on the color palette from the

January Prima Product Picks from Prima Marketing.

Look at those gorgeous shades of lilac and purple....

I would like to enter my project for this challenge.

Finnabair heavy gesso black

Finnabair texture paste white crackle

Finnabair 3D gloss gel

Finnabair soft gloss gel

Finnabair mica powder purple

Finnabair mica powder rust

Finnabair mica powder gold opal magic

Finnabair micro beads black

Relics&artifacts archival cast (rising spirit III)

The heart is from MDF wood, and I used Finnabair texture paste white crackle on the background. Second step, I layered all the embellishments and glued them down with 3D gloss gel.

Let it dry, and paint everything with black gesso.

After drying I mixed the mica powders with soft gloss gel, and dry-brushed it on my project.

Finishing with some swarovski crystals and my project was ready!

Here is my new layout for Dusty Attic  Challenge January 2016

Look at this gorgeous moodboard, it is so inspiring and I immediately fell in love with it.

I hope there will be lots more of these great moodboards this year!

The theme is 'Vintage', and I love vintage!

 

The moodboard from Dusty Attic is a perfect example of vintage for me.

I used lace, ribbon, doily's, flowers, and more things vintage on this layout.

New layout 'Imagine'

 

Here is my new layout, inspired by the colors from the Color Challenge at Lindy's Stamp Gang

Challenge January 2016. These colors are just so very beautiful...

 

 

The picture is from my daughter when we were walking in the forest (in the Netherlands) and she had seen on tv that there can be wolves in a forest, and she thought there were wolves in our forest in the Netherlands. That's why she looks like this. But there are no wolves in the Netherlands. So after a while she became more relaxed...The title is 'Imagine' because she has a vivid imagination!

 

 

I used from Lindy's Stamp Gang the gorgeous Starbust sprays 'Open arms amethyst' and 'Shabby turbine teal' and I embossed the title with 'Silver moon orchid'

 

 

The title is very shiny because of the embossing powder, and I used some glass glitter and pearls, to give this layout some extra shine & sparkle.
