I immediately loved the moodboard from MMP when I first saw it. I definitely wanted to use turquoise and copper colors. But when I was creating, I found out that the softer blue tones (from the PPP moodboard), and shades of rust and copper, combined with some vintage lace and papers, were more the direction I wanted to go.
So I tried to combine the two moodboards and used shades of turquoise with soft blue and denim blue tones, and used the lovely paints and mica powders from Finnabair to add touches of beige, copper and rusty brown.
The picture is from my daughter, when she was two years old.
She is the light in my life....
