7 Dots Studio tags with Dusty Attic chippies

I made two tags with a combination of 7 Dots Studio Dreamscapes and Hazy Days collections

I used the Dusty Attic moodboard from July as my inspiration to create with these rich and warm colors.

On the blog from The Dusty Attic and 7 Dots Studio you can see the step by step photo tutorial of the making process.

And here are some close up pictures for you:

You are special...

Hi everybody,
Today I want to show you my newest layout, made with the gorgeous 7 Dots Studio Dreamscapes collection.

The picture I used, says a thousend words...
My little girl, looking a little bit rebellious, but still being the sweetest ever.
I want her to know how special she is for me.
I hope she will never looses the twinkle in her eyes, and will always persuit her dreams.

I first primed my paper with clear gesso, and then I used the geometry stencil on the paper. I used a different technique this time: I added white gesso on the stencil, on just a piece of old paper, and then I laid my stencil on the actual paper, and used a clean palette knife to go over it. This way I got a real subtle background design.

I added some Lindy's spray, to give the background just a little bit more color, and splattered the ink here and there.
I stamped with the clear stamp from Homegrown collection, and embossed it with embossing powder.
I used tags, flowers, cheese cloth, and some feathers to build op my page.

I painted my Dusty Attic chipboard wings and title and glued them down.
I used Lindy's spray also on my word sticker, before adding it to the wings.
Some white acrylic paint splatters and my page is finished!

I was inspired by the color yellow from the June challenge at Mixed Media & Art
